Why Bodha
Any operator can drive you to Muktinath. We are from there, and we have spent three decades studying it.
Dr. Kul Raj Chalise
A Tribhuvan University doctorate and nearly three decades of field research on the sacred geography, theology, and cultural history of the Kali Gandaki kshetra. When Nepal sent sacred shilas from the Kali Gandaki to Ayodhya in 2023, he served as cultural advisor to the Government of Nepal for the yatra and was among the scholars who authenticated them.
Dr. Chalise convenes the yatra and leads its teaching. On the ground, Bodha scholar-guides trained in his research walk with the group every day, so the scholarship travels with you at every site.
Locals of Muktinath, not visitors to it.
The Chalise family are Nepali Hindus of the Muktinath region. The temples, the villages, the river, and the people along the corridor are home ground, which changes everything about how the journey runs: where you stay, who welcomes you, and what gets explained that a guidebook never could.
A decade of journeys.
Founded as Chalise Tourism in Nepal in 2016, with ten years of guided journeys through the country, and registered today in Miami, Florida to serve pilgrims across North America. You book with a company, you travel with a family.
What we never compromise.
