Day 5 of 6 · Samarpan
Muktinath & Pulhashram
This is the heart of the yatra. We reach Muktinath itself at 3,710 metres: the temple, the 108 sacred waterspouts, the eternal flame that burns on water, and the kshetra where Vishnu is honoured as self-manifest.
Nearby lies Pulhashram, ground of deep significance in the tradition, where the yatra's reading reaches its culmination at the very place it describes.
The morning is unhurried, paced for altitude and reflection, so the darshan can be received rather than rushed through. Whatever intention you set in Kathmandu returns here, at the source.
